The Optisan LR 10x42 ED is a roof prism binocular with high Abbe number ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass and an open-bridge design, conceived for birdwatching, hiking, nature observation and hunting. Lightweight and fitted with a neoprene strap, it is comfortable to carry all day.
The new-generation optical design with ED glass delivers sharp images, reduced chromatic aberration and true-to-life colours, with 86% total light transmission according to the manufacturer. The 10x magnification brings distant subjects closer, while the open bridge gives a natural, stable grip so you can hold the binocular in one hand and focus with the other. It is IPX7 waterproof (immersion up to 1 m for 30 minutes), fogproof and nitrogen-purged.
