Discover the Planet Shooters selection of Optisan optics for sport shooting, hunting and observation. The collection may include EVX Gen II, ES, HX and EVE riflescopes and EVR II ED, LR and LR ED binoculars.
Before purchasing, always check in the product page the magnification, objective and tube diameter, reticle, focal plane, MRAD or MOA adjustment units, illumination and included accessories. Models from the same family may have different features and intended uses.

How to choose an Optisan riflescope
The choice should start from the platform, the shooting distance and the type of use. For driven hunts a low minimum magnification is more suitable, as in the EVE 1-4x24i; for evening stand hunting, bright 50 or 56 mm objectives and an illuminated reticle matter; long-range shooting requires high magnification, precise turrets and parallax adjustment.
Also check whether reticle and turrets use MRAD or MOA and whether the reticle is in the first or second focal plane. The letter "i" in the model designation identifies versions with an illuminated reticle.
Main Optisan families
Depending on availability, the selection may include models from the following series. The series designation does not replace checking the specifications of the individual model.
EVX Gen II riflescopes
Available in 4-16x44 and 6-24x50 first focal plane formats with F1MRAD and F1MOA reticles, and in 4-16x44i and 6-24x50i second focal plane versions with illuminated MHP10i MRAD reticle.
ES, HX and EVE riflescopes
The ES series includes the 3-12x44i and 4-16x44i SFP models with illuminated MHP10i MRAD reticle. The HX series offers the 4-12x40 SFP with Duplex or BCR reticle. The EVE series includes 1-4x24i with G4A4 MOA reticle, 2.5-10x50i with G4Ai10 and 3-12x56i with G4Ai12, all illuminated SFP.
EVR II ED, LR and LR ED binoculars
For observation, the EVR II ED 8x42 and 10x42, LR 8x42 and 10x42 and LR ED 8x42 and 10x42 binoculars are available. The ED designation indicates the use of low-dispersion glass. Compare magnification, field of view, close focus distance, weight and colour stated in the product page.
Mounting and compatibility
The ring diameter must exactly match the riflescope tube stated in the product page. Also check the base or rail type, ring height, space for objective bell and eyepiece and correct eye relief. Mounting and tightening must follow the manufacturer's instructions. For mounting, also see Rings and Bases.
Optisan warranty
Optisan warranty terms may vary depending on the product category and the market of purchase. To know the actual coverage and any registration procedures, always consult the official documentation for the product.

Frequently asked questions about Optisan products
Which Optisan products are available?
The collection may include EVX Gen II, ES, HX and EVE riflescopes and EVR II ED, LR and LR ED binoculars.
How do I choose between MRAD and MOA?
They are different angular measurement systems. It is advisable to choose reticle and turrets in the same unit and to use the system most consistent with your correction method and the ballistic tables you use.
What is the difference between first and second focal plane?
In FFP models the reticle apparently changes together with magnification; in SFP models it keeps the same apparent size. The validity of subtensions depends on the model and magnification: always check the specific documentation.
Are rings included with the riflescope?
Not necessarily. Consider included only the accessories expressly stated in the product page.
Can I ask for assistance before purchasing?
Yes. Before contacting Planet Shooters, prepare the firearm model, intended use, approximate distance, rail type and MRAD/MOA preference: this information allows a more precise check.
