The Optisan ES 4-16x44i is a second focal plane (SFP) riflescope with an illuminated MRAD-MHP10i reticle, 30 mm tube and 0.1 mrad adjustments. Designed for precision shooting, it offers a 4-16x zoom range suited to both hunting and medium to long-range target shooting, while keeping a generous eye box.

The MHP mil-hash reticle is designed to obstruct the field of view as little as possible while providing long-range holdover references; as a second focal plane reticle, its subtensions are calibrated at 10x. The 6-step illumination with off positions in between helps in low light. The capped stainless steel turrets deliver crisp, audible clicks, tool-free zero reset and protection from the elements; side parallax adjustable from 10 yards to infinity and a one-piece aircraft aluminium tube complete a scope tested by the manufacturer up to 6000 J of muzzle energy.
