This Wheeler Engineering Delta Series Vise Block is a vital tool that allows the user to securely clamp the apper in a bench vise without fear of pinching, twisting, or damaging it for critical assembly, disassembly, or maintenance. It's ideal for use with properly torqued barrel nuts, attaching or detaching a muzzle device, and is even useful for properly cleaning the barrel end of a rifle with a cleaning rod. Made of solvent-resistant black polymer, the clamp is compatible with A2 uppers with integral carry handles and A3 flattop upper receivers. It includes an internal polymer receiver insert to protect the apper from pinching when the clamp is tightened, as well as a gas tube alignment pin to ensure the barrel nut is properly aligned to allow for clearance in the rifle's gas system.
