Vector Optics Tauron 5-40x56 ED FFP 34mm Riflescope VTA-8 MIL

Vector Optics Tauron 5-40x56 ED FFP

The Tauron 5-40x56 ED is the riflescope from Vector Optics' PRS line, featuring an 8x zoom from 5 to 40 magnification, a 56mm objective lens, and ED glass. The VTA-8 MIL reticle is etched on the first focal plane: measurements therefore remain valid at every magnification, a necessary condition for the rapid corrections typical of precision shooting competitions.

The turrets use 1/10 MIL clicks with an adjustment range of over 25 MIL in elevation and 12 MIL in windage, and incorporate both zero stop and locking mechanisms on both the top and side turrets. Reticle illumination has 6 levels with an On/Off switch and a CR2032 battery; the side focus covers from 15 yards to infinity. The 34mm tube, made of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a matte black finish, is IP67 certified with immersion up to one meter for 30 minutes, nitrogen-filled, and shockproof up to 1000 G.
