The Continental x8 6-48x56 ED is a high-magnification riflescope from the Vector Optics Continental series, featuring an 8x zoom from 6 to 48 magnification and a 56 mm objective lens. The VCO-6 MOA reticle is located in the second focal plane and therefore remains constant in size as magnification changes.

Adjustment is performed in 1/8 MOA clicks over a range of 48 MOA in both elevation and windage, with a zero-stop function on the elevation turret. The reticle illumination features 11 levels with an On/Off switch and CR2032 power supply. The side focus covers from 10 yards to infinity; the lenses are fully multi-coated and the 30 mm tube is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a matte black finish, featuring IP67 certification, nitrogen purging, and a declared shock resistance of 1000 G.
