The Continental x8 2-16x50 ED is a hunting riflescope with an 8x zoom factor, starting at 2x magnification for close-range shots and reaching 16x for longer distances. The VET-10 BDC reticle is located in the second focal plane and features 11 brightness levels.
The ED glass and fully multi-coated optics provide light transmission exceeding 93%. The turrets feature 1/4 MOA click adjustments with a total travel range of over 110 MOA for both elevation and windage, while the side focus parallax adjusts from 20 yards to infinity. The 30 mm tube, made of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a matte black finish, is IP67 rated and shockproof up to 750 G; it weighs 672 g.
