Swampfox Tomahawk II 1-6x24 SFP riflescope – red Guerrilla Dot BDC reticle

Swampfox Tomahawk II 1-6x24 SFP – red Guerrilla Dot BDC reticle

The Swampfox Tomahawk II 1-6x24 is an LPVO (low power variable optic) with a second focal plane (SFP) illuminated red Guerrilla Dot BDC Long reticle with MOA subtensions. The second generation of the Swampfox Optics Tomahawk series combines true 1x for fast both-eyes-open shooting with up to 6x magnification for mid-range shots, and is designed especially for AR-platform rifles.

The Guerrilla Dot BDC Long reticle combines a centre dot with a segmented circle, ideal for fast acquisition at 1x, with bullet drop compensation (BDC) references to be used at maximum magnification. It is calculated on the trajectory of 5.56 NATO 55 gr FMJ with a 50/200 yard zero and can also be used with 7.62 NATO / .308 Win 155 gr; the manufacturer also indicates it for rapid range estimation. The 12-position illumination turret with intermittent off positions includes two night vision compatible settings and two for bright daylight; push/pull locking elevation with zero reset, capped windage, a 6061 aluminium body and multi-coated, anti-fog and hydrophobic lenses complete the package.
