While there are many options on the market to meet this need, we at Strike Industries have a unique approach to offering you added value. We all have different preferences and requirements when it comes to setting up our gear. With easily interchangeable sight inserts, you can tailor our sight to best suit your shooting style. The heart of our solution lies in the interchangeable front sight blade. Traditional dot sights have the potential for vertical misalignment, requiring the user to index twice: once to center the dot and then reconfirm that the black top portion is aligned with the rear sight. By moving the sighting element all the way to the top, this second step is mitigated. Additionally, our optical inserts collect more light and are much more robust than simple fiber optic light tubes. Opaque inserts are also available for bright light conditions where a fiber optic might be too disruptive. The rear sight is tapered to offer the best compromise between narrow and wide rear sights. Narrow rear sights aid accuracy, but can be slower to align and obscure more targets. Wider rear sights tend to be faster and offer greater visibility, but increase the margin of error in a misaligned sight picture. With a narrow base for finer alignment and a more generous plane, it allows the shooter to have the advantages of both. Additionally, the index ramp on the front sight offers a way to quickly confirm correct sight alignment and can be marked for greater visibility.
