The SMS2 Glass Edition is the compact Shield Sights reflex sight with a 4 MOA red dot and a crystal glass lens with anti-reflective coating. Unlike the aluminium RMS2, the SMS2 has a glass-filled polymer body with a matte black finish, weighing only 11.4 g without battery.

Brightness is automatically adjusted. Power comes from a CR2032 battery with a declared runtime of 20,000 hours in average daylight. It measures 40.8 × 25.35 × 22.8 mm and the declared sealing is IP67. The sight uses the SHIELD mounting footprint.
