The R2 USA brass rod is used to remove bullets stuck in the barrel (squib loads) of guns from 9 mm to .45 caliber. It is a useful tool to keep in your range bag or on the maintenance bench.
Brass is softer than barrel steel: it lets you push the bullet out without risking damage to the rifling or the crown.
