The Primary Arms SLx 1-8x24 FFP is a first focal plane low power variable optic (LPVO) with an 8x zoom ratio in a compact, lightweight body. This version features the ACSS Raptor 5.56/5.45/.308 reticle with full red reticle illumination.

The first focal plane gives a small, red-dot style reticle at low magnification for fast close-range engagements, without giving up the features of the ACSS® (Advanced Combined Sighting System) reticle as magnification increases. The optic has a quick-focus eyepiece, low-profile finger-adjustable turrets with the new turret caps, and a movable, replaceable magnification fin. It weighs 17.9 oz (507 g), every unit is 100% inspected in-house and it is covered by a lifetime warranty. The ACSS Raptor 5.56 reticle is calibrated for 5.56 and cartridges with similar ballistics: auto-ranging horizontal stadia combine range estimation and holdover, the bright outer horseshoe speeds acquisition at low magnification and wind dots indicate drift in a perpendicular crosswind.
