The Leupold STD 30 mm rings in high profile are the pair of steel rings for the Standard system, the historic two-piece dovetail mounting system in the Leupold catalog. The front ring locks into the base and is rotated into position, while the rear ring is secured by the base's windage screws: this creates a rigid connection that still allows for lateral alignment of the scope before zeroing.

STD rings are mounted exclusively on Leupold STD bases, either one-piece or two-piece, where windage adjustment is managed by the rear base screws. They are not compatible with Weaver or Picatinny rails, nor with Dual Dovetail or cross-slot bases. They accommodate scopes with a 30 mm tube.
