Leupold QRW two-piece bases for Browning A-Bolt matte black
The Leupold QRW two-piece bases are the interface between the Browning A-Bolt receiver and the rings holding the riflescope: they define the position, height, and alignment of the optic, upon which zero retention under recoil and correct eye relief depend. The two-piece design leaves the ejection port clear and reduces weight and bulk compared to a continuous rail. The matte black finish limits reflections and is consistent with matte blued or treated firearms.
The QRW bases feature a cross-slot profile: that is, they present a Weaver-style crossbar, which is also compatible with Picatinny rings. When paired with Leupold QRW2 rings, they replicate the quick-detach feature of the QR system, with a return to zero within the manufacturer-stated ±1/4 MOA; with PRW2 rings, the mounting becomes fixed. The construction is steel. Leupold specifies a torque setting of 22 in-lb for the base-to-receiver screws.
