The Lee Precision Quick Trim Die in 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser is the caliber-specific die for the Lee Quick Trim trimming system: it screws into the press and sets the length at which the case is trimmed. It is designed for those who reload this military and sporting cartridge, which is widely used in long-range shooting and selective hunting.

The case enters the die and only the excess length protrudes: the Quick Trim cutting unit rests on the top of the die and removes the material, so the die itself acts as the length reference and no measuring calipers are needed. The system does not use internal pilots, so shavings are not pushed inside the neck. The Quick Trim Die is intended only for trimming: it does not resize the case and does not replace the resizing dies in the reloading set.
