The Bullet Feed Kit is the Lee bullet feeder for progressive presses, mounted on the die carrier head along with the Bullet Seat & Feed Die: bullets descend by gravity from the feed tubes, the feed finger holds them and releases them one at a time onto the case mouth with each cycle of the lever, controlled by the action rod connected to the press ram. Lee expressly indicates this spring, together with the 10-24 hex nut BF4308, as a necessary component for the assembly of the friction actuator contained in the BF4307 molded parts set. It is a standard replacement part for all Bullet Feed Kits and is distinct from the BF4306 return spring.
