The Lee Precision Collet Neck Sizing Die in 303 British is a single die that resizes only the neck of the case, leaving the body and shoulder untouched. This is particularly beneficial for this caliber, as Lee-Enfield chambers are often generous and repeated full-length resizing rapidly shortens the life of the cases.

Its operation is based on a steel collet that compresses the case neck against a precision mandrel: the final dimension is determined by the mandrel rather than the die body, resulting in better alignment and reduced runout compared to resizing with a pull-through expander. Since the case is not compressed over its entire length, no lubricant is required, and the brass remains fire-formed to its own chamber, significantly extending its service life. Lee recommends using this on cases fired in your own firearm; for brass of mixed origin, a full-length die remains necessary.

Recommended use

Spare parts for the die, including the collet, collet sleeve, and mandrel, are available separately.
