Lee Precision Safety Prime previous version
This is the previous version of the Lee Precision Safety Prime, the feeder that brings primers to the press one at a time without the operator ever touching them with their fingers. It is offered to those who own a Lee press already equipped with this generation of the system and are looking for the corresponding spare part, or to those who wish to maintain the original configuration of their machine.
The operating principle is the same as the current Safety Prime: the tray with a feed channel brings the primer into position and a release mechanism operated by the press drops it onto the seating punch, allowing you to prime at the end of the stroke and leaving all stations free for dies. In this version, too, the system is complete with small primer assembly and large primer assembly and the mounting bracket. The current model has replaced this generation in the catalog while maintaining the same commercial code 90997: before purchasing, it is advisable to compare the bracket and tray assembly with those mounted on your press.
