This cutting-edge chronograph far surpasses any other chronograph on the market. It doesn't measure a single velocity, but tracks the speed of the projectile as it travels, whether it's an air pellet, an arrow, or a pistol or rifle bullet. Clearly, the speed it can track varies depending on the size and weight of the object in question. The various measurement steps are user-defined; during setup, you can select the five distances at which you want the chronograph to detect the bullet's velocity. This chronograph's measurement range is astonishing: from 65 to 3,900 ft/s (1,188 m/s) with an accuracy of +/- 0.01%. Labradar is independent of any light source and can be used indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions. The chronograph is positioned on the side of the barrel, unlike traditional chronographs, which are positioned in front of the barrel where they are prone to accidental damage. Each series of shots provides minimum, maximum, average, ES, and SD velocities. For each shot, the muzzle velocity (V0) and the five velocities at the various previously set distances are displayed, along with kinetic energy at each distance. This is possible thanks to the ability to also set the bullet weight before starting chronographing a new series of shots. All data can be downloaded to a PC via USB or SD card. The base features a 1/4 x 20 thread for mounting to a tripod.
