Like the original Taco®, the double-deck design allows the user to carry two magazines in a single pouch that occupies only 3” of horizontal space on your platform.

The X2R uses polymer rods on the sides, Cordura on the front and back, shock cord as a binding thread, and a thin sheet of HDPE to separate and lock virtually any combination of magazines in any position. USGI, HK, PMAG, ARC, FAL, AK 30/40, LR20, and M14 magazines are all held securely and dispensed with ease of extraction and silently on demand.

Like the original Taco®, the X2R maintains a firm grip on its contents, without additional fastening systems. However, if additional fastening is desired, fabric tabs are sewn on top for use of "over the top" elastic retainers.
