The Falcon FQ50 2.0 uses an uncooled VOx 640 × 512 pixel sensor with a 12 μm pitch and NETD sensitivity of less than 15 mK. The 50 mm F0.9 lens is paired with rear focus.

The bright F0.9 lens, Full HD OLED display, and HSIS system provide detailed images without the periodic interruptions typical of shutter calibration. The stated detection range reaches 2,600 meters.
