GPO 50 mm Sunshade for Spectra riflescopes

The GPO 50 mm sunshade is an original GPO German Precision Optics accessory that screws directly into the objective thread of selected GPO Spectra riflescopes with a 50 mm objective. It reduces stray light entering the objective and unwanted reflections on the lens, for a more contrasted image and more precise long-range shots.

It is made of high-quality anodized aluminium in the same colour as the riflescope, with minimal weight and high stability. No adapters are needed: it fits in seconds by screwing it onto the objective.

Compatibility

According to the manufacturer, this 50 mm sunshade is compatible with the following GPO riflescopes:

• Spectra 7.5x50i
• Spectra 4x 4-16x50i
• Spectra 6x 2-12x50i
• Spectra 8x 2-16x50i (also Rail version)

Not suitable for the Spectra 6x 4.5-27x50i models (LR Pro, PLRi, MOAi), for which a dedicated 50 mm sunshade is available.

Recommended use

For hunting and shooting with low sun or against the light, when reflections on the objective must be avoided and image contrast improved.
