In terms of improved accuracy, no single reloading function provides a greater return over time than rotating the eccentric case necks on a constant wall thickness. At the point of ignition, the brass must expand to allow the bullet to be released. If the brass is thicker on one side of the case than the other, the thinner side releases the bullet first and causes a slight misalignment between bullet and bore that can seriously compromise accuracy.

Precision machining with special angles and reliefs designed specifically for neck rotation; the approach angle of the cutter allows rotation all the way to the case shoulder.

The micrometric adjustment knob allows for fine adjustments in both directions; easily adjustable to .0005″. Index marks in .001″ increments are clearly stamped on the tool body.

Dedicated pilots are sold separately, .002″ to .0025″ smaller than the bullet diameter.

The standard case holder (vise) included with the HOT100 is designed for cases up to .592". The large case holder is required for rims with diameters from .593″ to .812″.
