The kit's setup is typical of practical shooting: a 10 lbs recoil spring and an 8 lbs main spring to lighten the trigger pull and soften the cycle, along with an extended firing pin and competition firing pin spring to maintain ignition reliability even with hard-primer ammunition, which is the critical compromise when reducing the main spring load.
