Commander profile hammer for Colt 1911, STI 2011 pistols and clones. The Commander profile, with a rounded spur and skeletonized window, is the most common alternative to the classic spur: it reduces bulk above the steel hammer and the possibility of contact with a high grip on the beavertail.

Eemann Tech manufactures it from alloy steel using CNC machining; the part weighs 14 grams. The manufacturer states that in most cases, no fitting is required and installation is drop-in, though it specifies that for pistols with different manufacturing tolerances or those already modified, the intervention of a certified gunsmith may be required.
