Double Alpha Academy Flex / Flex Air Holster Insert Block – Type A and Type B

The Double Alpha Academy Flex insert block is the retention block that fits DAA Flex and Flex Air competition holsters to your pistol. With just two models, Type A and Type B, it covers almost all pistol types, with the fit adjusted through the slide-lock teeth, side spacers, shims and, for some guns, a front spacer.

The aluminium slide-lock has user-adjustable teeth and engagement is magnetic, as in the Alpha-X generation. A stainless-steel safety lever is mounted on the right side of the block, staying outside the holster for right-handed shooters.

Recommended use

To build or fit a Double Alpha Flex or Flex Air holster to your pistol for IPSC and USPSA practical shooting. The choice between Type A and Type B depends on the pistol model: check the Double Alpha Flex compatibility table. Not compatible with Alpha-X and Race Master holsters; pistols whose trigger guard widens from front to back (e.g. HK USP and VP9, CZ P10, Arsenal Strike A/B) require Alpha-X blocks.

• 1 assembled insert block with aluminium slide-lock and stainless-steel safety lever
• 7 side spacers in 1.25 mm increments
• 12 side shims of approx. 0.12 mm
• 1 front spacer of 2 mm (only for some guns)
• Mounting screws: 2 M4x8 screws, 2 self-tapping 2x6 mm screws, 2 screws 4x5 mm, 2 screws 4x8 mm
