The Leupold VX-Freedom Rimfire 3-9x40 is a riflescope designed for rimfire rifles: the parallax is fixed at 60 yards, a typical distance for shooting .22 LR and rimfire calibers.

The Rimfire MOA reticle, on the second focal plane, features markings with 1 MOA increments for a 25 MOA measurement range, useful for elevation and windage corrections. The Leupold Advanced Optical System ensures light transmission and glare reduction; the fast-focus eyepiece is lockable. Waterproof and fogproof construction.
