Ballistol quick bluing Schnellbrünierung 50 ml

Ballistol quick bluing (Schnellbrünierung) is a liquid for cold touch-up of damaged bluing on rifles and handguns or for bluing small parts, without the need for long bluing baths. It is applied with a brush and works in a few minutes, making it easy to touch up scratches, worn edges and areas of wear.

The result is a deep black, abrasion-resistant surface with a corrosion-protective effect. It is suitable for iron and steels with a chromium content of up to approx. 3%, and is ideal both for gunsmiths and for shooters who maintain their own firearms.

Recommended use

Touch-up of the bluing on barrels, slides, receivers and small metal parts of hunting and sporting firearms. Thoroughly degrease the surface (for example with Ballistol cold degreaser), apply the product with a brush and leave it to act for at least 3 minutes until a yellowish-white coating forms. Rinse thoroughly with water, pat dry with a soft cloth and protect with Ballistol universal oil or Gunex.

Corrosive product (contains nitric acid): wear gloves and eye protection and read the label warnings.
