The Leupold Mark 2 IMS 1″ is a one-piece cantilever mount machined from a single block of aluminum, integrating base and rings, which attaches to a Picatinny rail. The Integral Mounting System family was created to solve the two typical problems of mounting traditional riflescopes on firearms with a flat-top receiver: sight height and eye relief.

The cantilever profile positions the rings forward of the attachment point and places the center of the optic at 1.5″ (38.1 mm) above the rail, the same height as the iron sights on a classic AR.
