The SureFire SF3P-556-M24X1.5 Advanced Three-Prong Flash Hider, which fits the AK74 rifle and 5.56 firearms with 24x1.5 metric threads, features a patent-pending design that significantly reduces muzzle flash, typically greater than 99% – when compared to a standard muzzle. Featuring rugged teeth built to withstand the rigors of combat, the SF3P-556-M24X1.5 also serves as a solid mounting adapter for SureFire SOCOM Series 5.56mm Fast-Attach® suppressors, the SOCOM556-RC model having placed first in the most extensive and rigorous suppression tests ever conducted by U.S. Special Operations Command.

Precision machined from US-certified heat-treated stainless steel rods and featuring high-precision single-point cutting threads for optimal thread interface, the SF3P-556-M24X1.5 Flicker comes with a black Ionbond DLC coating to provide maximum protection in harsh environmental conditions and for easy cleanup, even after extreme use.

When used in conjunction with a SOCOM SureFire series suppressor, the SF3P-556-M24X1.5's patent-pending design provides multiple contact surfaces to ensure superior suppressor alignment and prevent audible snag within the suppressor. A rear labyrinth seal minimizes potential carbon buildup in the indexing system and facilitates suppressor removal after prolonged firing.
