The RMS2 is the compact Shield Sights reflex sight with an 8 MOA red dot and a D-shaped crystal glass lens with a clear anti-reflective coating and no filters. The body is made of aerospace aluminium with a matte black finish and uses the SHIELD mounting footprint.

Power comes from a CR2032 battery with a declared runtime of 20,000 hours in average daylight, with the battery compartment accessible from the underside of the body. At 17.1 g without battery and 40.8 × 25.35 × 22.8 mm, the RMS2 is intended for mounting on optics-cut handguns or via the dedicated Shield Sights mounts. The declared sealing is IP67. All Shield Sights sights are made in the United Kingdom and covered by a limited lifetime warranty.
