The Primary Arms SLx 1x MicroPrism is a prism optical system designed from the ground up in an ultra-compact housing: the size of a microdot with the durability of a prism scope. This version features the etched ACSS Gemini reticle for 9 mm, with red illumination.

The etched reticle always provides an aiming point, with illumination on or off, and is suited for shooters with astigmatism because it does not blur or streak like traditional red dots. The LED illumination offers 13 settings with AutoLive motion-sensing technology and three night vision settings; at maximum it is daylight bright, and the low-power sleep mode preserves the battery. The ACSS Gemini reticle, designed for 9 mm, combines bullet drop compensation, range estimation and moving-target leads: a center chevron above two drop dots, surrounded by a large horseshoe, with horizontal ranging bars below the chevron and horseshoe.
