Leupold STD 1″ Low Matte Black Rings

Leupold STD 1″ low rings are a pair of steel rings designed for one-piece or two-piece Leupold Standard bases, the most popular mounting system in the Leupold catalog.

The front ring locks into a dovetail and rotates into the base, while the rear ring is adjusted laterally using windage screws: initial alignment is therefore achieved during mounting, leaving the scope's elevation travel intact for ballistic compensation. The height is 0.65″, approximately 16.5 mm from the base surface to the center of the ring; the top screws should be tightened to 28 in-lb and the windage screws to 45 in-lb. Steel, matte black finish; Leupold recommends the STD system for calibers up to .300 Win. Mag.

Recommended use

They must be paired with one-piece or two-piece Leupold STD bases corresponding to the firearm model. They are not compatible with Weaver or Picatinny rails, nor with Dual Dovetail bases, which have different geometry: those require cross-slot rings (PRW2, QRW2, Mark 4) or DD rings, respectively.
