Leupold Mark 4 Tactical 12-40x60 Spotting Scope with TMR reticle
The Mark 4 12-40x60 is the spotting scope that Leupold built for precision shooting: unlike a general-purpose spotting scope, it integrates a first focal plane TMR reticle designed to communicate with the shooter and correct fire in real time rather than simply showing the impact.
The TMR reticle uses hash marks instead of dots, with 0.5 MIL spacings, for finer distance estimation and deviation reading than the classic Mil Dot. The straight magnesium body utilizes the Folded Light Path system, which folds the optical path using mirrors instead of prisms, achieving a 60mm objective and 12-40x magnification in a tube just over 30 cm long. The external surfaces are protected by the DiamondCoat 2 coating.
