BackCountry Cross-Slot bases are among the lightest and most durable mounting systems in the Leupold catalog: they are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, the alloy used in aerospace applications, and convert the action's mounting platform into a cross-slot rail that accepts both Weaver and Picatinny rings.
