Lee Precision 18-cavity bullet mold for #4 Buck .240" buckshot
The Lee Precision #4 Buck buckshot mold is an 18-cavity mold for casting your own lead buckshot for shotshells. It is designed for those who reload hunting or target shells in 12, 16, and 20 gauge and want to produce their own buckshot instead of buying it in bulk.
The unique feature of these molds is that the 18 cavities are connected: each pour produces 18 buckshot pellets joined in a cluster, which are separated by simply cutting the three rows. The practical advantage is that you don't have to count the pellets one by one, because each pour already produces the quantity needed to load two 12-gauge shells, and according to Lee, the casting rate allows for over 2,000 pellets per hour. This version casts #4 Buck pellets at 20.7 grains with a diameter of .240".
