The Lee Precision Pacesetter 3-Die Set is the complete die set for reloading the 7.5x55 Swiss, the cartridge for Schmidt-Rubin and K31 Swiss rifles, which is very popular among shooters of historical military firearms. It includes the full-length resizing die with decapping, the dead length bullet seating die, and the Factory Crimp Die, which performs crimping as a separate operation.

The resizing die processes the entire case body, including the neck, and is equipped with a decapping and expanding rod; as it is made of steel, it requires the application of resizing lubricant before each pass. The dead length seating die rests the bullet against a fixed stop, so that the overall length does not depend on variations in case length. The Lee Factory Crimp Die, the third element of the set, applies the crimp via a collet that acts radially on the neck: the result is a uniform crimp even on cases of non-perfectly uniform length, a frequent condition when working with military brass of mixed origin.
