The Kleen-Bore A177 bore brush is a phosphor bronze barrel brush for rifles in .22, .223 Remington, and 5.56 mm calibers. It is designed to safely and effectively remove combustion residue and fouling from the barrel bore during periodic maintenance of long guns.

This is the rifle version, which is longer than the handgun bore brush. The bristles are straight rather than crimped for greater cleaning effectiveness and have rounded tips. The brush remains thick and sturdy and does not bend easily when pushed through the barrel, while the bronze is designed not to damage the rifling.
