Hornady Rapid Rack for AR-15 (.223) – Empty Chamber Indicator

The Hornady Rapid Rack is an empty chamber indicator for .223 caliber AR-15 rifles that also functions as a load-assist device. It is designed for those who want to keep their long gun ready with a full magazine inserted and the chamber visibly empty.

The cartridge-shaped body fits into the chamber, leaving a highly visible colored lever protruding from the ejection port, providing an at-a-glance signal that the chamber is empty. With the bolt closed on the Rapid Rack, a loaded magazine can be inserted: by pulling the lever straight back, the device drops out, the bolt travels forward, and chambers a round in a single motion.

Main features

Empty chamber indicator for .223 AR-15s
High-visibility colored lever that protrudes from the ejection port
Allows the magazine to be kept inserted with an empty chamber
Removal and chambering in one lever motion

Recommended use

Suitable for .223 AR-15 rifles stored or transported with an inserted magazine and empty chamber, for visual verification of the firearm's status at the range, during transport, and during training. Always follow safety protocols and range rules when handling the firearm.
