Double-Alpha PRIMAFILL GEN-2 – Semi-Automatic Primer Tube Filler

The Double-Alpha PRIMAFILL GEN-2 is a semi-automatic primer tube filling solution that can quickly and easily fill both Small and Large primer tubes. It allows you to switch between primer types instantly, without the need for tools or additional assembly.

The PRIMAFILL is compatible with all primer tubes with an 8mm outer diameter, such as those from Dillon or DAA. Unlike other competing products, there's no need for a custom adapter to fit onto the tube. With the PRIMAFILL, you can fill all your primer tubes with ease!

The large flip tray area is especially convenient when emptying large primer boxes, such as those made by Federal and others. The tray is large enough to hold an entire primer box.

Improvements in the GEN-2 version
In the GEN-2 update, the exit holes have been redesigned to incorporate machined aluminum caps. This allows the exit holes to be manufactured to tighter tolerances and finished for a smoother surface. The exit hole is the most critical area for smooth operation and consistent primer flow. The upgrade to machined and polished aluminum holes, compared to the previous injection-molded plastic ones, represents a significant improvement in performance and reliability.

The PRIMAFILL GEN-2 is powered by a standard 9V battery (not included). A push switch is ergonomically positioned under the index finger for right-handed use, while the thumb rests centrally on the lid. Simply hold the button down while the primers are fed into the tube and release it as soon as the last primer disappears into the exit hole. Since the entire process takes less than 20 seconds, a single battery can last for thousands of primers.

The orange spring-loaded latches on the outlet posts allow you to insert or remove the tube instantly, without having to twist or screw it. The latch is located under your thumb: press down to insert the tube and press up to remove it. An intuitive and natural action.

Instructions for use
Insert the 9V battery and test the device by pressing the power button. The PRIMAFILL should vibrate and make a slight buzzing sound. Do not remove the foam pad under the battery; it is required for proper operation.
Remove the lid and place the magnetic cap to block the LARGE or SMALL exit hole, depending on the type of primers you're filling. To change the size, simply flip it over.
Place the PRIMAFILL GEN-2 on a flat table and pour 100 primers into the flip-tray area.
Shake the device lightly with short, sharp movements to flip all the primers until they are all oriented with the anvil facing up.
Replace the lid and insert a primer tube into the corresponding outlet hole. Press the orange latch while inserting the tube, making sure it is fully inserted.
Hold the PRIMAFILL in your right hand, with your index finger on the button and your thumb centered on the lid.
Tilt the device slightly so that the primers accumulate near the blocked exit hole (e.g. near the LARGE when filling SMALL primers).
Press and hold the power button to activate the vibrating motor, then slowly tilt the device toward the open outlet. The primers will automatically align in a single (or at most double) row toward the outlet.
Keep the PRIMAFILL as horizontal as possible, adjusting the tilt only as necessary to facilitate the flow of primers.
Done! Your primer tube is now filled in seconds!
