Barnes Tipped TAC-TX .30 Caliber (.308) 168 Grain Boat Tail Lead-Free Box 50 pcs

To create the Tipped Triple-Shock X (TTSX) bullet, Barnes took its best-selling TSX bullet and added a polymer tip. The aerodynamic tip increases the ballistic coefficient, thus improving its long-range ballistics.

Like the TSX, the Tipped Triple-Shock is lead-free and made entirely of copper. Numerous grooves in the lower body reduce pressure and increase intrinsic accuracy. Ideal for hunting, especially deer, the TTSX bullet expands instantly, doubling its original diameter. Instead of deforming into a lead mushroom, the TTSX bullet splits into four copper petals with jagged tips, ensuring maximum penetration.

Characteristics:

• instant expansion up to double the original diameter;
