B&T BT29 TRG Rail Kit

The Sako TRG Rail Kit is complete and ready to install on your TRG. The kit allows for installation of either the BT12 Accu-Shot or BT12-QK Precision Monopods (the BT12-QK is shown, but not included). Installing the BT29 requires temporarily removing the buttplate assembly and drilling a second hole, either of which can be made with common hand tools. B&T Industries LLC strongly recommends a competent gunsmith install the BT29 TRG Rail Kit. Like our other monopods, it is constructed of the finest materials and built to the highest standards in the USA. Available in black only.

The BT12 and BT12-QK units are the only two monopods compatible with the BT29 TRG rail kit.

Installation requires removal of the butt plate. Insert the bar nut into the frame tube using the long screw guide until you locate the hole in the bar nut that aligns with that of the inserted BT29 bracket. Insert the 10-32x3/4 screw through the hole in the widest part of the rail, making sure the inside of the accessory is aligned. Be careful not to damage the threads of the bar nut. Once this screw is tightened, make a mark for the second hole in the rail. Remove the rail and drill a ø(0.203) 13/64 hole. Reattach the rail and reassemble the butt plate.
