Hornady Large Primer Pocket Cleaner

Hornady Primer Pocket Cleaner Large

The Hornady Primer Pocket Cleaner Large is a tool for cleaning the primer pocket of Large primer cases, used when preparing fired cases before re-priming.

After firing, the primer pocket retains combustion residue that can prevent the new primer from seating to the correct depth. A clean and uniform pocket promotes proper priming, with the primer flush or slightly below the case head, and contributes to ignition consistency from one cartridge to the next. The tool dedicated to the Large size works on the correct pocket diameter and removes residue quickly and uniformly.
