The second generation of the Swampfox Optics Tomahawk series combines true 1x for fast both-eyes-open shooting with up to 6x magnification for mid-range shots, and is designed especially for AR-platform rifles.

The Guerrilla Dot BDC Long reticle combines a centre dot with a segmented circle, ideal for fast acquisition at 1x, with bullet drop compensation (BDC) references to be used at maximum magnification. It is calculated on the trajectory of 5.56 NATO 55 gr FMJ with a 50/200 yard zero and can also be used with 7.62 NATO / .308 Win 155 gr; the manufacturer also indicates it for rapid range estimation. The 12-position illumination turret with intermittent off positions includes two night vision compatible settings and two for bright daylight; push/pull locking elevation with zero reset, capped windage, a 6061 aluminium body and multi-coated, anti-fog and hydrophobic lenses complete the package.

Key features

Magnification: 1-6x

Objective diameter: 24 mm

Tube diameter: 30 mm

Focal plane: second (SFP)

Reticle: red Guerrilla Dot BDC Long, MOA subtensions (BDC subtensions valid at maximum magnification)

Illumination: 12 settings with intermittent off positions (2 NV compatible, 2 for bright daylight)

Click value: 1/2 MOA

Travel per rotation: 100 clicks / 50 MOA

Max adjustment: 100 MOA elevation and 100 MOA windage

Turrets: push/pull locking elevation with zero reset, capped windage

Parallax: set at 100 yards (approx. 91 m)

Exit pupil: 7.6 – 3.9 mm

Eye relief: 3.39" – 3.54" (approx. 86 – 90 mm)

Field of view at 100 yards: 120.43 – 20.9 ft (approx. 40.1 – 7.0 m at 100 m)

Fast focus diopter: -2 to +2

Lenses: fully multi-coated, anti-fog and hydrophobic

Body: 6061 aluminium

Battery: side-mounted CR2032

Length: 10.55" (approx. 268 mm)

Stated weight: 20.59 oz (approx. 584 g)

Waterproof rating: IPX7

Impact resistance: 1,100 G

Recommended use

Designed primarily for AR rifles in 5.56 NATO and also usable on 7.62 NATO / .308 Win firearms, for dynamic shooting, competitions and short to mid-range hunting.
